Bringing Fresh Food & Community Together
Fresh, affordable food isn’t just convenient—it’s essential. The Warren Food Co-Op brings healthy groceries closer to home, empowers local families, and strengthens our community.
Our Mission & Vision
Our Mission
To eliminate food insecurity and strengthen community resilience through a community-owned grocery store. Every household deserves quality groceries nearby without stretching budgets or traveling far.
Our Vision
Starting in Warren, we aim to build a model that can be replicated in other urban communities across Ohio and beyond—proving that community-owned solutions create stronger, healthier neighborhoods.
What We’re Building
A Grocery Store Designed for Warren
Fresh & Affordable Groceries
Stocking fruits, vegetables, dairy, meats, and pantry essentials for every household.
Healthy Choices for Wellness
Supporting heart health, diabetes prevention, and overall nutrition for the whole family.
Locally Sourced Products
Showcasing goods from Warren entrepreneurs and farmers, keeping dollars in the community.
A True Community Hub
A welcoming space for meetings, workshops, and neighborhood gatherings.
This store will be owned by the community, ensuring decisions are made for the people who shop here—not outside corporations.
Why This Matters
Warren has areas classified as food deserts, leaving families with fewer options for fresh produce, healthy meals, and essentials. Many residents pay more for lower-quality food, travel farther, or go without. The co-op breaks that cycle, bringing healthy food closer to home—at prices your families can afford.
